Rev. Michael Barrett

Michael retired from Pleasant Garden Baptist Church after pastoring for thirty years and then was called to serve the PBA in November of 2018. He attended Gardner Webb University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has an incredible passion for evangelism and missions; has served as a Trustee with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
Michael is married to his beloved wife, Teresa, and they have two precious daughters: Shannon and Shelley. They have four terrific grandchildren. Michael and Teresa were also foster parents and have kept 51 babies!
Michael's hobbies include woodworking, refinishing antiques, sports, cooking for large groups, and family events.

I am truly honored and grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside our church family in ministry. I am the proud wife of Tim and mom to Bella and Noah, and the daughter of Larry and Belinda Lamberth. Our family attends and serves at Harvest Baptist Church in Burlington, where we are thankful for the community God has placed around us.
When we’re not at church, you can usually find us traveling, spending time with friends, or enjoying moments with our extended family. My greatest joy is walking through life with the people God has entrusted to me and serving Him wherever He leads.
