Our Staff
Michael retired from Pleasant Garden Baptist Church after pastoring for thirty years and then was called to serve the PBA in November of 2018. He attended Gardner Webb University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has an incredible passion for evangelism and missions; has served as a Trustee with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
Michael is married to his beloved wife, Teresa, and they have two precious daughters: Shannon and Shelley. They have four terrific grandchildren. Michael and Teresa were also foster parents and have kept 51 babies!
Michael's hobbies include woodworking, refinishing antiques, sports, cooking for large groups, and family events.
Rebecca came to the PBA staff in November 2005. In addition to the many administrative duties she takes care of around the office, Rebecca makes reservations for our facility. If you have ever called the PBA, you most likely have been met with Rebecca’s voice on the other end and her servant’s spirit.
